The Western Poultry Conference is an initiative with the support of Egg Farmers of Alberta, Alberta Chicken Producers, Alberta Hatching Egg Producers, and Alberta Turkey Producers to provide education and training opportunities for poultry farmers in Alberta and across Western Canada. A dedicated group of volunteers from the government, poultry boards, industry, and producers works together to develop top-quality Western Poultry Conference programs with high-caliber scientific and producer speakers to support farmers in implementing new or updated ideas and techniques on their farms.

David Speller outlines the unlimited possibilities of using big data with existing equipment on farms. He will show you how to track, explore and understand your data for fascinating insights and a deeper understanding of production on your farm. Running a farm is demanding, and the volumes of data being collected can be overwhelming. Speller has designed a system to condense data findings into a comprehensive but brief summary, offering essential insights in just a few sentences.
